Message from President

I am honored to extend my heartfelt welcome to you on behalf of Junkiri Nepal, a beacon of hope for underprivileged children and communities in Nepal’s remote areas. Just like a junkiri (firefly) lights up the night, our mission is to bring light, opportunity, and dignity to those living in the shadows—especially children who deserve access to education, healthcare, and a brighter future.

Alongside my entrepreneurial path, I have been privileged to serve in national-level social leadership roles. From 2016 to 2018, I was elected Joint Secretary of the NGO Federation of Nepal, Kathmandu Branch. Later, from 2019 to 2021, I served as an Executive Member of the NGO Federation of Nepal. These opportunities, entrusted to me by NGOs across Nepal, allowed me to contribute to strengthening the country’s civil society through this umbrella organization—working collectively for accountability, empowerment, and sustainable development. These experiences shaped my vision for Junkiri Nepal as an organization built on integrity, compassion, and responsibility.

I warmly invite travelers, donors, social workers, and organizations—both in Nepal and abroad—to join us in this mission. Your support is more than just assistance; it is a spark that lights up lives, giving children and families the hope and dignity they deserve.
